History of the creation of the world from a scriptural view combined with the science of the Electric Universe theory.

Imagine a power which flows in, through and around all things. It governs all things, causes life, and movement. It reigns supreme in the far reaches of observable space as well as in the microscopic world of cells, molecules, and atoms.

This is a familiar concept to Latter-Day Saints.

This is the basis of the “Electric Universe”.

Another important aspect of the “Electric Universe” is that no branch of science can stand alone. Said another way, all truth must be circumscribed into one great whole. If we find correlation between different branches of science then there is a better chance that we are on the right track.

(And I would add that if it correlates with scripture that's even better!)

If you accept God's word first and then interpret “Electric Universe” theory according to God's word, the world becomes very fascinating as you begin to see more clearly the way that God can, does, and will work to bring about His purposes.

First assumptions:

God means what he says.

God can and does command and control all substances. (Even if we don't know exactly how he does it.)

God obviously can therefore create the earth in the way that he says he did.

God has told us the important things that we need to know to be saved and to return to live with him.

He has also encouraged us to study and learn all we can about the way the world works.

He says that we can know the mysteries of God when we are ready for them. However we must first understand and put into practice the basic principles and ordinances of the gospel. Then we must continue in living and teaching those basic principles.

So first work on understanding and living the principles God has laid out for your eternal salvation.

Then if you desire, as you continue to live, love, and serve in the gospel, you can learn to understand many of the mysteries.

What follows is a speculative idea of how the creation of the world could have physically come about according the the best understood laws of physics. It strives to stay true to scripture and the words of the prophets.

First lets lay a little ground work from plasma cosmology.

We now know that space is not an empty vacuum. In fact it is teaming with positively and negatively charged particles in the form of plasma.

Plasma is the “fourth stage of matter” or the “fundamental form of matter”. We are all familiar with what have been widely considered to be the first three stages of matter; solid, liquid, and gas. Plasma goes one step beyond gas to where some of the electrons float free from the nucleus of the atom. With free electrons floating around plasma is very electrically conductive. Most of the Universe is made up of plasma.

With our radio-telescopes we can now 'see' electrical currents that are flowing through space. Electric currents always create magnetic fields, and in fact magnetic fields cannot exist without an electric current of some kind. The magnetic fields restrict the flow of the electric currents and so they become stringy filamentary currents traveling through space.

Electric currents are also very attractive to one another, so when there is more than one electric current in an area they come close together. Two currents attract form a distance, but when they get close together they repel one another. Thus they start to spiral around one another making a twisted pair, or braided filament. These twisted pair are very efficient and can carry current for very long distances. These twisted pairs are called “Birkeland Currents” named after Christian Birkeland who identified them.

It has now been discovered that these twisted pairs occur in both massive and miniature scales. From microscopic versions in the human body clear up to galactic cluster sizes in space.

If you follow along one of these “Birkeland Currents” you will discover that it passes through different environments as it travels along. It interacts with other “Birkeland Currents” both large and small. This causes the interaction of the filaments to be more or less restricted as it moves.

In places where the electrical environment is particularly active the filaments spiraling around each other pinch down into what is called a “z-pinch”. They spiral very quickly and intensely. This z-pinch area has a very strong attractive force (37 orders of magnitude stronger than gravity) and gathers in matter from the surrounding area. It compacts and concentrates this matter until there is enough matter, or until there is a disturbance in the force. When the z-pinch becomes unstable, due to the amount of matter gathered, or to a change in the current streams, it will throw off the ball of highly charged matter.  It is called a plasmoid.

This highly charged ball of matter will have an electric glow and it will naturally try to keep it's electrical charge (it seeks equilibrium). So if it is in an area of the universe that has less electric current than it is used to it will expand to take up more area to accept more charge from the available flow. If the area becomes more highly charged it will shrink to keep the same overall charge.

This is how stars work. They are nodes in electric currents. They interact with the electrical environment around them. A star in a low voltage area will expand and be more diffuse and we will call it a giant red star. A star in a high voltage area will shrink and shine bright and we might call it a white hot star.

As the currents flowing through space interact and effect one another (on all size scales) interesting things happen. If a star should suddenly have a major change in it's current input it can become unstable and split to try to accommodate the electrical change. It will often throw off what we would normally call a brown dwarf star.

A brown dwarf star is also a charged object and will glow if it can gather enough electrical current. Or if it becomes more electrically neutral it will have much less glow and we might call it a giant gaseous planet. Like Jupiter or Saturn.

When a brown dwarf star becomes unstable due to changes in it's environment, it may split (there are many double star systems in the universe) or if it doesn't split it can spit out large chunks of it's self creating smaller rocky planets. Like Earth or Mars.

With that background now lets look at the creation of this earth. Remember that the Lord makes it plain in talking to Moses that the creation story is specifically about our earth. It is not about the entire Universe, or even our galaxy, it is about the earth. The idea that the whole Universe was created when the earth was created is just a mistake from other Christian denominations that don't understand the scriptures. The Universe is eternal and endless.

So lets assume a “Birkeland Current” pinches down into a “z-pinch” and begins to gather “matter unorganized” and organizes it into a ball that becomes a star. Then this large star splits off a part of itself and creates a brown dwarf star. This brown dwarf star as it goes spinning through space goes through unstable areas and perhaps splits in two and these two spit out one or two or more rocky planets.

The brown dwarf star pair, lets call them Jupiter & Saturn, don't have enough explosive power to launch the rock planets out of orbit from themselves. The rocky planets remain in orbit around the brown dwarf stars, Jupiter & Saturn.

Let's now assume that this pair of small brown dwarf stars are traveling through space and are in a lower voltage area. Let's look just at Saturn for a minute. It's outer atmosphere will expand to take in more voltage. The glow of Saturn at this point would appear from the outside as a dim red star. The outside glowing edge of it's atmosphere may actually be beyond the orbits of it's rocky planets. In other words, Earth or Mars, or whatever other rocky bodies orbit Saturn, may be inside or outside of the electrical glow at this point in time. They may not be seen from the outside. This may in fact explain why we don't see other earth like planets very often. They may often be hidden inside the outer glow of the atmospheres of their dwarf stars.

Inside of this anode glow the Earth would have an interesting environment. The sky would appear to be kind of a purplish hue, as recorded in some ancient records about the early Earth. (It may also explain why purple became the color of royalty, since the heavens are recognized as the home of the Gods.) The electrical environment between the Earth and Saturn would actually cause water to mist down to Earth's surface. The Earth would be warmed with the infrared glow of the atmosphere. An ideal greenhouse for growing a wonderful garden. Let's call it the Garden of Eden. It is an ideal home to place Adam & Eve into.

Jupiter & Saturn circling one another would make for signs and seasons depending on their particular orbital trajectories. From Earth's point of view Saturn would be it's main light source and Jupiter would be a much lesser light (hard to see through the anode glow even though it is close by). Mars (also circling within the anode glow) would also help to designate times and seasons.

Now as Jupiter & Saturn go spinning through space they come into a neighborhood dominated by a huge star that we will affectionately call “The Sun”. As Jupiter and Saturn enter the heliosphere (electrical environment) of The Sun there is a strong reaction to the electrical change as they break through the “double layer” of electric charge at the outskirts of the solar system.

Jupiter and Saturn begin a literal “fall” in toward the Sun moving fairly quickly. This event is cataclysmic on Earth. As Saturn moves toward the Sun like a giant comet, the Earth, Mars, or whatever other rocky planets were in orbit around Saturn are dragged along behind it in it's comet like tail. In other words the Earth takes a “fall” as well. Environmental conditions on Earth change drastically as the Earth is no longer swathed in the comfortable glow of Saturn. Celestial type conditions on Earth cease.

Another interesting thing that happens in this comet like configuration is that Saturn loses mass (electrons) and the planets in it's wake (Earth & Mars) gain mass. This could account for the extinction of the dinosaurs (which covered the earth to give plants around the earth the carbon dioxide they need to grow) because as the earth grows in mass the level of gravity could have become too much for many of them.

In the outer reaches of the Solar System, Saturn is still the dominate light and warmth for the Earth. In deed we see in ancient records that Saturn is called “Helios” the Sun God. In fact “Sol” is also an ancient name for the planet Saturn, which name is later turned over to what we now call “The Sun”.

This configuration of the planets lined up and falling into orbit around the Sun persists for some time since it is a long way to travel before they near the inner solar system. This stable configuration in ancient records is often referred to as “The Golden Age”. From ancient records it has been proposed that the planets were in this order in their fall toward the Sun: Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Mars, Earth.

As this string of planets moves closer to the inner Solar System, they begin to interact electrically (and gravitationally) with other planets. These interactions between planets cause other Earth shattering cataclysmic events. For example: The city of Enoch is divided from the earth. The planets begin to break apart and dance around one another as they seek stable orbits.

Large quantities of water were held in the electric atmospheres between Earth and the other planets. Much of the water that was held in the atmospheres between the planets and Earth are released as the planets begin to loose the bonds between them. Don't worry, Noah has built an ark. The Earth is baptized.

This is another large change in the Earth's environment and atmosphere. Life spans become much shorter. The planets continue to interact with one another from time to time and eventually they move apart from one another. More catastrophes continue to shape the earth. The earth is broken up in the days of Peleg. The tower of Babel is destroyed by huge electrical interactions between planets.

At some point Earth captures a small rocky body in it's field of influence (we will call it the moon). We have a long period of drought in the days of Abraham. More cataclysms occur, with rocks falling from heaven causing many deaths. Abraham observes a new sky and gets instruction from God to learn about the new sky and go and explain it to the Egyptians.

As the planets continue to interact electrically and then move apart various other cataclysms occur. Sodom and Gomorrah are leveled by God. The Exodus occurs with a serious of plagues that were likely the result of planetary interactions. (That's another fascinating story.) Rocks fall from heaven as the Lord fights battles for the House of Israel. Joshua's long day happens wherein the Sun appears to stand still for a time. Elijah calls down fire from heaven which totally consumes His sacrifice and the alter (stones and all) as he defeats the priests of Baal. In the reign of King Hezekiah the prophet Isaiah promises the shadow of the Sun will go backwards 10 degrees on the sundial as a sign to the King that God will fulfill his promises, and it is done. And an angel of the Lord overnight wiped out 185,000 Assyrian soldiers (“and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses”).   (Old Testament | Isaiah 37:36)

As things calm down over time the Earth reaches the point in it's existence that was described in it's spiritual creation. With a greater light to rule the day and a lesser light to rule the night.

At first this idea of the creation of the world, from a plasma cosmology perspective, was fascinating to me. But I had some reservations and questions. So I had to do more research.

Weren't the Sun and Moon always seen from the Earth ever since creation? What about the stars?

I searched through the scriptures. The only mention of the Sun and the Moon prior to Abraham's day was in the description of the Spiritual creation in Genesis. So, knowing that a spiritual creation represents what something can (will?) become it is indeed possible that our present day Sun and Moon were not seen by people living on Earth until the days of Abraham. I did a search for stars, and found that they also are not mentioned in the scriptures until the days of Abraham. No wonder people in the days of Abraham had such an intense interest in learning about the sky and the stars. Perhaps they had never been seen before (at least not like we see them today).

Plasma cosmology ideas also explain how easy it will be for God to fulfill prophecies of the future. Darkening of the sun and moon. Rolling the heavens together as a scroll, stars falling from the heavens, etc. God can control and command the stars and the planets to move as he sees fit. All of space is filled with immense power, and God commands it all.

Again, I must reiterate that I do not pass this on as Gospel truth. It may or may not be true. But it is a fascinating explanation of how the world as we know it may have come about in agreement with the Word of God and the best science of the day as I see it.

I hope you enjoyed the journey. Remember that living the basics of the Gospel principles is the most important thing. First come to know Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Savior. Then seek to serve Him. Then all things will fall together for your good.
