11 Things Every Cancer Patient Needs To KnowApril 14th, 2008
Here are 11 things that every cancer patient needs to know. They are not necessarily in order of importance. The big scary cancer thing can be a lot easier than you may think.
First thing is: Don't blame yourself. It's not your fault. Second thing is: Don't blame someone else. There are so many things in our polluted world of today that can contribute to and cause cancer that it is nearly impossible to say exactly why you have cancer. I can point to at least four major contributing factors to my getting cancer, but there are also many other small contributing factors. Don't worry about the causes, except of course, to eliminate the very obvious ones from your lifestyle. Third thing is: Forgive and love yourself and all around you. A good attitude is probably the strongest indicator of how well you will survive. Fourth: If you haven't done so already, stop eating processed sugar. Cancer feeds on sugar. Oncologists generally don't tell you that, because it is not part of their training. Also, do not use artificial sugar substitutes. They are even worse than the sugar. Don't worry about eating natural sugars found in your fresh fruits and vegetables. Fifth: Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, particularly darker green, leafy vegetables. This is where you will get a lot of your antioxidants and phytonutrients to help fight off the corrupted elements in your body Sixth: Eat lots of good raw nuts, seeds, and whole grains. You've got to have lots of good stuff to rebuild a better body, and balance all the systems in the body. Whole grains are particularly good at balancing the body. Seventh: Drink plenty of good clean water. This is so important in flushing out the bad stuff. One tenth of your body weight in pounds is the number of cups of water you should drink throughout the day, MINIMUM. Try to get even more than that. Don't worry about how many times you have to make the trip to the bathroom. Trust me, it is worth it. Eighth: Be sure to get a good variety of minerals in your diet, including the trace minerals. If you are eating much grocery-store-bought foods, you probably should consider supplementing with a sea-salt that contains all the trace minerals. Nothing good happens in the body without minerals. Ninth: Never use a microwave oven, or eat anything that has been cooked in a microwave oven. Did you know that they test microwave ovens for safety to make sure that they don't leak too much radiation, but they never test the food that comes out of them. The one doctor who actually tested people eating foods that had been microwaved, discovered that the microwave oven actually disrupts and deforms the DNA of the food, basically turning the food into carcinogens. Tenth: I highly recommend using high-doses of Vitamin C. On my website you will find an article all about Vitamin C and why, when and how to use it. http://ghlcom.com/content/VitaminC.html Eleventh: Get a little exercise and sunshine at least six days a week! Exercise is what makes the body function. Without exercise of some kind you don't have the muscle tone to move things around inside your body, delivering nutrients to where they need to be and moving waste out of the body. Your body is the only thing that can cure cancer! Give it all the tools it needs to do so. Generally speaking, living a healthy life isn't really that difficult. It just requires a few decisions. Just eat a high quality natural foods diet, exercise, drink plenty of good clean water, make sure you get fiber (whole raw foods), get plenty of sleep, breathe deeply and have a gratitude attitude. Your body will take care of you, if you take care of it. Coach G. Success in health comes from lifestyle described at http://ghlcom.com.
